Stockyard Manager (Jakarta, Indonesia)

 

As a Stockyard Manager at PERI you are responsible for the backbone of our business, material flow and quality management. Your main task is to ensure the timely handling of material deliveries to and from our customers as well as to actively manage material maintenance and quality measures to ensure continued full customer satisfaction with our local and international customers in various construction projects, such as high-rise, civil engineering or industrial construction. Being a member of a multinational and success driven team, you will report directly to the Managing Director.

 

Main responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for Jakarta stockyard processes and performance
• Staff supervision, training, development and motivation
• Maintenance and upkeep of all stockyard assets, property and services
• Responsibility for timely processing of customer orders
• Ensure compliance with local safety and environmental regulations
• Ensure compliance with PERI operations procedures, material servicing and reconditioning standards
• Conduct material quality checks and audits
• Liaison with relevant authorities and agencies
• Implement and comply with HSE regulations
• Identify and communicate potential for efficiency and productivity improvement measures
• Conduct monthly material quality checks as well as yearly stock taking and audits
• Reporting of Operations KPI to Managing Director and Market Unit Operations Manager

 

Your profile:

• High school diploma required, degree in Logistics or related field preferred but not a must
• 5+ years working experience in logistics or warehouse management in a team leading role
• Very good analytical and mathematical skills
• Very good knowledge MS Office suite and material management software
• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Hands-on and problem-solving attitude
• Very good organizational skills and structured work approach
• Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Goal-oriented, trustworthy and reliable person
• Very good in Bahasa Indonesia, good command of Bahasa Melayu and English (verbally and written) considered as an advantage
• Provision of Certificate of Good Conduct
