Sales Engineer

Location : Jakarta, Indonesia

 

Responsibilities/Tasks
1. Offer:

  • Conduct credit check following Credit Policy
  • Register customer in Centrio
  • Register project in Centrio
  • Register project in CRM and input all relevant data
  • Prepare Project Data sheet and forward request to Offer Creation department
  • Create offer referring to Signature Guideline
  • Submit offer for approval
  • Submit offer to customer
  • Maintain CRM updated (on daily basis)

2. Contract:

  • Save signed contract to Centrio project folder
  • Ensure all required documents and security payments are available, collected and saved in Centrio project folder
  • Inform engineering and request detailed design stating deadlines for design submission
  • Inform order management stating deadlines for delivery
  • Prepare project tracking file with all required fields
  • Project kick-off meeting and handover to Project Management (specific projects)

3. Order fulfillment:

  • Prepare request form for PE and arrange PE endorsement as and when required
  • Collect project hours from Engineering and ensure costs are invoiced as per contract
  • Collect project hours from Product Specialists and ensure costs are invoiced as per contract
  • Ensure all transport costs are invoiced as per contract
  • Monthly review of Project tracking file and approval of control print invoices
  • Ensure material variances are covered with Variation Orders
  • Ensure the project duration as per contract is not exceeded and arrange additional confirmation from customer if required
  • Instruct & approve Credit Notes as per Credit Policy

4. Project close out:

  • Prepare final SOA
  • Refund rental deposit
  • Perform other duties as assigned by superior

Professional requirements, experience and skillset

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in formwork sector preferably in the Sales sector
  • Fluent English, both oral and written
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Experience in AutoCAD Software (preferred)
  • Meticulous, strong sense for flexibility and responsibility
  • Strong professional ethics, open and trustworthy
  • Self-motivated, independent and committed
  • Self-confidence and high self-assertion
  • Open-minded personality with ample cultural awareness
  • Ability to work under pressure e.g. because of irregular working hours
